[sharon] Sharon: Book 4 onward. Light brown, curly, shoulder-length hair, dark green eyes, pale-skinned and sort of mousy, mid twenties. Friend and chess partner of Zeke. Ivy meets her in Zeke’s treehouse and wonders if she’s dating Zeke, and is unexpectedly jealous even though she doesn’t want that kind of attention herself. Ivy finds out that she and Miki have discussed her abilities with a healthy scientific interest. Zeke lets it slip that Sharon is a lesbian, and later when she tells Ivy that she is going to an LGBT meeting, Ivy wishes there were a group that helps people with her kind of differences. This is part of the inspiration for the Handprints group.
