Is the first human Ivy remembers seeing face to face, before she knows what exactly is odd about her (besides her abilities). In Book 3, a chance meeting has Robert having coffee with Ivy in a New York café and catching up. Book 4 involves Ivy getting Robert’s help with plans for her new clubhouse, where they talk about money and Robert’s secret wish to have had children.
