Mrs. Parks: Book 2. Teased-out light brown curly hair with lots of hairspray, blue eyes, somewhat spindly-looking body (especially her hands), late thirties. Teaches chorus and piano at Ivy’s high school. Ivy takes piano and later switches to chorus to learn music as part of her curriculum. Because of some bad luck, Ivy gets implicated in a mix-up involving stolen property from the chorus room, and Mrs. Parks witnesses Ivy doing some rather odd things before leaving the school. She comes back to return her books and chorus music, and Mrs. Parks invites Ivy to participate in the performance she’s worked so hard for. |
