THE STORY:

Jared and Ivy met on a building when she was resting and he was going to his usual hideout. He and Ivy had a talk and he discovered some of her unusual talents, which ended up making him threaten her and then panic. She managed to open his mind a little, and it made him curious, so they became friends. She would visit him as an escape from her usual routine and listen to his music and play games with him. When Adele sent her to get a new roommate (Miki), Ivy assumed that she could bring Jared home to live since there’d be extra money, but it turned out that money was to pay for extra expenses for Bailey’s school and Ivy’s music lessons, so either she had to quit lessons or Jared had to get out. And Adele said the house wasn’t good for him and that’s she’d overstepped her bounds bringing him there. Ivy worked several different jobs to try to get money to keep Jared and her lessons, but gave up eventually. Jared went back to his parents and everything was better on the whole, though he still hates school.
