The Inheritance Cycle

This is my page for criticism and commentary on Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle. This author became famous for being a teenaged fantasy writer, and his books were given wide praise while he himself received the wunderkind treatment. The public's reaction was, in my opinion, completely undeserved. I think the book Eragon was terrible, and in some ways the series got worse as it went along.

The following writings will help you understand why I think this is the case--in detail--and you might even agree with me. Feel free to post a public response, mail me privately, or just enjoy the connections at the bottom.
