Review #1: Reviewed by: The Author Herself Comments: While writing this, I kept pushing myself to write it and when it was done it felt forced, and I was sure it wasn't a very good story. It grew on me a little but I wasn't sure if it was too heavy-handed, and I was concerned that since I started telling the story at the point where Lucas's relationship falls apart, it would be really unclear how otherwise happy Lucas had been with Melody, even though I TELL this a lot in the story. I also wasn't sure whether my portrayal of a therapy session was accurate. Nevertheless, it felt really good to have my fictional rebuttal against people who sacrifice others' comfort for their curiosity, and it was fun to slip in a little of my favorite casual mentions of modern witchcraft.
