Open Diary Entries

Things I am happy about:

• Someone on Everything2.com gave me props on a writeup I did on stupid drunk people.

• I learned to French braid today.

• My kitchen table is very clean.

• I have lots of friends.

• Jeaux and I came up with a very funny idea for a comic book called Ace of Spades.

• I just sent out 30 promising query letters to editors who could hire me for freelance editing work.

• I have spent a whole day without talking to a human being.

• I am clean.

• My writing kicks ass!

• I have been in perfect health for over two years.

• It is my day off.

Things I am sad about:

• Someone on Everything2.com dissed me on a writeup I did on stupid drunk people.

• I'm not very good at French braiding.

• My toilet and the rest of my kitchen are disgusting, like when JW lived with me.

• I feel like wanting a day alone means I'm ignoring all my friends and they are pissed.

• I have not come up with character sketches for Ace of Spades and I suck alarmingly at drawing.

• Nobody's hired me for editing in a long time.

• I have spent a whole day without talking to a human being.

• I will not be clean for very long. I hate taking showers.

• My writing isn't published. And probably won't be for a long time, if at all.

• I need to go to the dentist and the eye doctor for a checkup and new contact lenses, and I don't have enough money to do that.

• I have to go to work tomorrow.

YAY! Dammit.

Notes:

I wrote something similiar the other day, how come good news never seems to come without bad news. Do you have any copies or things that you wrote on Word etc. I would be interested in reading how you write. I am no expert that is for sure, I am however a person who likes to read and I think I know good writing when I see it. Of course I would understand if you don't like to give that stuff out. The yin/yang! Go Ivy ^____^ I just read your email by the way, and will be replying shortly. At least you have some *good* things going on in your life. It sorta makes the bad worth it - or it makes the bad stuff seem less...bad. Yup, I can't think of any other adjectives. Come to think of it, I don't rememember what the basic definitions for adjectives and verbs are....describing something.. [katqueen]
