Vitals: Wiry black fuzzy hair, fairly long on top and usually sculpted in interesting little finger-like ropes that stand up or flop around. Shiny medium brown eyes. Light brown skin. Mid-twenties, fairly tall, average weight.
Other features: Very white teeth. Has a charming, smooth, velvety voice, speaking and singing. Has big hands that move a lot when he talks. Likes very casual (sometimes ratty) clothes like torn jeans, old-looking sweaters, and shirts that advertise bands he likes. Can also look very spiffy in a suit.
THE PERSONAL:
Talents/Abilities: Has always been able to charm people with his voice, so has had success in stage magic, waiting tables, and finally as a lead singer for a band, The Lint Traps. Can also play instruments.
Weaknesses/Shortcomings: Likes beer a bit too much. Tends toward shiftlessness with his jobs.
Interests: Singing, magic tricks, hanging out with Ivy when he can, talking, learning the full implications of everything he’s interested in.
Other information: Currently a singer for the lesser-known band The Lint Traps. Has liberal tendencies in politics. Agnostic. Likes women in general, but rarely approaches them unless he’s interested in them for a non-physical reason first. Comes from a big family and doesn’t see them often. Is great friends with his band members and really digs Ivy, and makes friends wherever he goes.
THE STORY:
Ivy met Perry when she was sent on a mission to recruit him to the house. She got him interested by performing as an assistant in his magic show for a short time, and later he got tired of the act and retired for a while. He worked a few in-between jobs until Adele found a position for him as a temporary front man for a North Carolina band. They had chemistry and accepted him as a permanent member, and Ivy was invited to watch his show. Her attempt to bring some of the house members to see the show with her is a small plot element of Book 1, and then later in Book 2 Ivy sees one of his shows in Florida when he is on tour. He more or less fades from the house since he is involved in his touring and band work, but he pops in now and then.
