[monique] Monique: Book 5. Long dyed black hair, blue eyes with purple contact lenses, “goth” eye makeup and dressing style, late teens. Claims to be a witch whose spells and spirit summonings really work. Was the person who got Todd’s sister Natalie interested in the supernatural, but snobbishly refused to participate after a few initial lessons. Ivy is interested in finding out if Monique is “for real” (for purposes of her Handprints group), and gets to meet her by way of employing some dishonest ploys. Figuring out whether she’s worthy of any attention is a focal point of Book 5.
