THE STORY:
Mandy, Nicky, and Andrea had been friends since elementary school. Andrea often invited new people to join them for lunch or wanted to play with other new kids on the playground, and this is the habit that ended up including Ivy in their fun for a while. When Ivy got invited to join the lunch table, they liked her style enough to tell her to join them for other fun and study dates, and she brought a lot of interesting aspects to their first year of high school. One morning after their first sleepover, Mandy saw Ivy without her headband on and giggled over her ears, but at Ivy’s insistence she promised to not tell others about what she’d seen. Eventually all the different truths about Ivy came out, and she started being honest with them about everything. Mandy was glad to be trusted and feels strangely tickled to have someone like Ivy for a friend.
