K.A. Applegate: Animorphs

AX Ax (Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill) is the alien intelligence of the Animorphs. He's from elsewhere in the galaxy and got stranded on Earth during the big fight between his brother Elfangor and the Yeerks' main villain, Visser Three. Ax is a whiz at alien technology (and human technology if he can modify it), and is very useful for keeping time since he has an innate ability to do so. Having some military training, he can hold his own in a tail-fight, and he is motivated by revenge for the murder of his brother. Ax also provides some realism for the Animorphs' cover as a band of Andalite warriors, and though he learns to be loyal to Jake, he suffers from a lot of self-doubt over who his people are and a lot of loneliness. Physical: Ax is blue-furred and green-eyed like most male Andalites his age, and he has four daintily hoofed legs, two arms with seven-fingered hands, an efficiently beautiful bladed tail, and a mouthless face with two inset eyes and two mobile eyes on stalks on top of his head. Relationships: Son of Noorlin-Sirinial-Cooraf and Forlay-Esgarrouth-Maheen, younger brother of Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul, technical uncle of Tobias and technical brother-in-law of Loren. Best friend of Tobias and soldier under the command of Jake. Favorite Battle Morph: Andalite.
