K.A. Applegate: Animorphs

TOBIAS Tobias is the lookout of the Animorphs. As a shy loner from a messed-up home before the war started, he was a bully magnet and got saved once by Jake, forming their relationship. He was transformed into a predator when he was trapped in a red-tailed hawk morph and has lived as a bird ever since. Ruminating over his situation and the opportunities of human life it has taken from him--as well as the new freedoms from his terrible life it brought him--are constant themes of his existence. He usually plays lookout and runs surveillance/information-gathering for the Animorphs once he got his morphing powers taken away, and when a quirk in time manipulation returned his powers to him, he continued to live as a hawk and often still observed battles and gave hints to the others rather than being a power battler himself. Physical: Tobias, when he's in human form, is of medium height and thin, light-skinned, with messy blonde hair and brown eyes. As a hawk, he has the usual brown and red feathers and sharp golden eyes. Relationships: Son of Elfangor's human morph "Al Fangor" and Loren, nephew of an unnamed aunt and uncle. Best friend and technical nephew of Ax, significant other of Rachel. Also related to Noorlin-Sirinial-Cooraf and Forlay-Esgarrouth-Maheen (his Andalite grandfather and grandmother). Favorite Battle Morph: Red-tailed hawk.
