They say you can often learn a lot about a person by looking at his or her bookshelves. Well, that's true to some degree in my case, but looking at my shelves might mislead you, as I actually have a fair amount of books I've never read or are on indefinite loan to me from a sister or friend. You might look at my shelves and think, "Oh, a big Virginia Woolf fan, eh?" No, not really. So anyway, that's why each book's entry has comments, most often about why I have them. If you don't care, ignore them, genius. Be aware that I haven't read a lot of the books I own and I have read a lot of books I don't own; if you want to see my favorite books or read my list of recently read books, that'll be a more accurate listing of what I like than what I have.
