Synesthesia: Religion frustrates me. I grew up Seventh Day Adventist and wriggled out of that
because it just drove me up a tree.
Especially the concept of hell and damnation. I never get that.
God is supposed to be good, but he wants to roast people in a lake of fire over
stuff He supposedly instilled in people in the first place!
It doesn't make sense. It frustrates me. Add the stress on gender roles too many
hard core xtains have, those rod verses and tormenting gay people and it's enough to
make my stomach boil.
But, there's many nice Christians I know. They are just not going to convert me out
of my mystical heathenness and that's all there is to it.
I did a ton of research on paganism after I shed the repressive skin of SDA like
these caterpillars are shedding their skin. I like paganism. It felt better. More
like me. I lean towards it. Music and stories should be my soul mates and religions.
