I've been trashing a specific novel (not related to Eragon) and I'm taking it apart chapter by chapter because it's fun for me. I was bashed first anonymously for not understanding the subtlety of the book (I won't go into details here) and then attacked by someone with an LJ name but no journal (I set my journal to "registered users only" to cut back on that kind of crap) who used the same phrasing, and asked mock-politely "Are you by chance incarcerated? I ask because I wish I had as much free time as you seem to. If I did, I would write the books I wanted to read and not read the books I found lacking."

The funny thing was, when I replied that I wasn't, and that I actually enjoyed doing this , partly because it was something I could in fact, finish, because I wasn't able to finish my own stories, they replied with the following, which they instantly deleted (thank you LJ for sending emails of comments!) "Ah yes, the old I have the skill & patience to destroy, but not the skill or patience to create. Now, where have I heard that before?"

I was just formulating a response too. Aren't people WONDERFUL?

Synesthesia: Obviously someone who has nothing better to do than to complain about your website is really the one who has no life. They'd find something better to do. Like make their own page.
I think it's an interesting site, quite entertaining.
