Books I read before 2000!

This is a list of the books I read before 2000, with a few of my thoughts on each. Many of these are uncertain dates, and of course I've read every book on my favorite books list at some point in time even if it isn't listed here.

? late 1999 Mike Yon
Danger Close
Creative non-fiction . . . and a recipient of the Gurley award! Impressive! ::wink::
? 12/99 Scott Cunningham
Living Wicca
Read most of this at Fred's house, sequel to Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner. Nice extension of the same principles.
? 1999 sometime Starhawk
The Spiral Dance
Just read this on and off to get some ideas of beginnings and exercises.
? 1999 sometime Carl Sagan
Contact
It was about as good as the movie but in a different way. Carl Sagan is a scientist, not a writer, but the writing of science was good. :)
? 1999 sometime Scott Cunningham
The Truth about Witchcraft Today
Just picked it up at the bookstore when getting some introductory books. Read through it in an afternoon. Nice overview.
? 1999 sometime Scott Cunningham
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner
Found that used and read it as a good intro to the arts.
? early 1999 sometime Marian Green
The Gentle Arts of Aquarian Magic
This was the first real Neopagan book I found to read; not exactly a good start, but it pointed me in the right direction.
? September 1998 Richard Matheson
What Dreams May Come
David gave me this book and it was quite good.
? 1997-1998 Francesca Lia Block
Dangerous Angels; Girl Goddess #9; The Hanged Man; I Was A Teenage Fairy; Violet and Claire
Over a couple years I collected everything available by this author and read it.
? 1997 sometime Katherine Dunn
Geek Love
Remembered my friend Mia talking about this, decided to buy it.
? mid 1997 Vanna Bonta
Flight
Very cool quantum fiction book that was very inspiring to me.
? 1997 sometime Garth Ennis
Preacher #1: Gone to Texas
Victor's loan; very intriguing. And horrifying.
? 1997 sometime Neil Gaiman
Sandman IV: Season of Mists
Victor's loan: Though it was out of sequence and I hadn't read the previous books in this series, it was still amazing.
