The house's first volleyball game!

Ivy, Nina, Zoe, and Dax play volleyball against Cecily, Tab, Bradleigh, Peyton, and Zeke, Ivy's team having fewer people because Zoe and Dax are excellent players. Ivy is forbidden to "cheat"; a promise she manages to keep.

IVY TRIVIA: Though Ivy wasn't quite aware of it at the time, she was using her energy during this game. She didn't use it to move the ball at all, but she subconsciously used it for balance and speed, and for silly occasional things like brushing her hair out of the way. She discovers how difficult it is to function totally without her power in the second book. Until then she was unaware of just how clumsy she'd be without it.
