This book being listed here is simply to draw your attention to the fact that Animorphs was also a TV show. I saw a few episodes on VHS long after it had been taken off the air, and I was not impressed. It did not follow the continuity of the story and often had very important details changed or made silly, especially when it came to just making it easier to film on a low budget (e.g., Ax being in human morph much more often than he was supposed to be). In my opinion the best parts of the show were the monologues from the characters, because the characters' inner struggles were one of the best aspects of having such an introspective kids' series tied up in an action sci-fi plot. When the sci-fi plot cuts corners, you're not left with much.
I recommend skipping the television show or at least not watching it until or unless you've read the whole series. It's sort of cringe-worthy to watch. As for the book about the actors, it's by Marie Morreale and Randi Reisfeld, and includes information about the Nickelodeon show on the actors Shawn Ashmore (Jake), Brooke Nevin (Rachel), Boris Cabrera (Marco), Nadia Nascimento (Cassie), Christopher Ralph (Tobias), and Paulo Costanzo (Ax).
